Nach Horrorgrenzabfertigung (3,5h) Einreise nach Russland geschafft. Bedingungen dramatisch schlechter! Beinahe an allem gescheitert. Kein Hostel, Hotel, Campingplatz gefunden, daher über Vyborg RUS hinaus gefahren Richtung St. Petersburg. Mit der Befürchtung auf dem Motorrad schlafen zu müssen um 22:45 trotzdem noch Zeltplatz gefunden auf dem Farmgrundstück einer jungen russischen Familie. Haben mich sogleich zu Barbeque, Bier, Fussball und Vodka eingeladen. Happy End?
Akunft in St. Petersburg. Grundregel, dass namhafte Tankstellen Stadtstrassenkarten verkaufen, gilt zum Glück auch hier und ermöglicht, dass ich Registrationsbüro im Zentrum finde. Mein Glück dass Dieses auch über Internet und Strassenkarte in nicht-kiryllisch verfügt hatte. Hätte ansonsten wohl kaum ein Hostel gefunden.

After a horrifying bordercrossing of 3.5 hours I got it and I entered to Russia. Conditions are rapidly worse than in Europe. No hostel, no campground and even no hotels found. Crossing Vyborg I,ve been driven to the direction of St. Petersburg. I expected to sleep on the motorcycle but I found a place to build my tent in front of a farmer's house he permitted. He also invited me to join the Barbeque together with his yound family with meat, beer and - of course - vodka! Pure russian hospitality. Happy end?
Arrival to the first big city, St. Petersburg. The golden rule that I can get roadmaps in big petrolstations helped to get one and to find the registrationoffice. Very lucky that the office was a russian language school made possible to get a english-citymap and to access internet to find a hostel.
