Traveling in Italy has turned to be a surprise in two different points of view.
Surprise 1:
Traveling without a travel guide let me take the things as they come along. An enormous extraordinary traditional design of houses appeared in southern Italy to be a main attraction. A wonderful area and nice to travel on a bike.
Surprise 2:
The roads in Italy are NOT at least better than in Greece and Turkey (why they are member in the European Union and don't provide proper roads!?). Meaning, that my back shock, which has started to leak damping oil since Turkey, is about to break this way the roads are bloody bumpy! The shock already has started to loose its stability, which turns the motorbike appear to be like a crazy donkey! I struggle with the question now, to continue traveling without repair, or to stopover somewhere, to do the repair.
I also recognize in Italy a significant cool down of the climate. I have to get used of the winter feeling.
