Heading north to Orange River, which creates the natural separation between Namibia and South Africa, I already entered a completely deserted environment. I proceed to first African Landborder crossing. Here the protocoll:

Just after view kilometers I fill up with fuel, food, water and good hope, and leave the main road on a good prepared gravel road across desperately uninhabited desert to get to Ai-Ais, to visit the Grand Canyon of Namibia, the Fish River Canyon. After a camp night at hot springs in Ai- Ais I move to the viewpoint, of the impressive Canyon System of Fish River Canyon.
