well, i have completed my second week in chile, and it is still as wonderful as the first day. the weather has also been cooperating more, so that is a definite plus. took another walking tour through the hills of valpo, it is quite a different world up there. the next day we all went to lunch at coco loco, an amazing REVOLVING restaurant that sits 26 floors up. also a day trip on saturday to the little fishing/hippie (you knew i would find it dad!) villiage of horcón. there was such a sense of peace there, very relaxing. shopped for beautiful and cheap jewellry, ate the best empanada EVER (shrimp and parmesean if anyone goes there) and watched an amazing sunset. all in all quite a wonderful day.
