What I did
Toured the Vatican
The purpose of this part of the trip is to see as much as I can of Vatican City and experience some of the Artistic delights of Rome. Today we visited the Vatican Museums, Library and the Sistine Chapel - all ramped - so much to see. The ceilings were amazing and I managed to hold my camera on my lap a couple of times and take video of the ceilings as we moved along. Had lunch again at local cafe.
We also went to the Parthenon which has a special history. Watch Rick Steves video to lean more. We left St. Peter's until tomorrow as it is so large we needed more time.

After getting back to the hotel and downloading my pictures, I went over the Ponte Sisco bridge to the right of my hotel and tried to tour around. Expensive Cafes here and a couple of churches. It started to get dark and the roads were very, very narrow and I really did feel for my life on a scooter since it was dusk so I quickly found my way back to the bridge and went back to the other side which is a big square and felt very friendly for dinner. But I did get a few pictures before I left. There are many pictures and hopefully they give those who have not been there some idea of what the Vatican is like.
