Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee

Today Kaled and his his friend Dan who is a Baptist and very knowledgeable about the Bible took me on a 3 hour drive to the Sea of Galilee and and into the Church of Loaves and Fishes, the ruins of St. Peter's House and the Modern Church built there at Capharnaum.  Click on the links underlined to get more information.  This was an interesting day and I got around mosting on my crutches as you will see from some of the pictures.  The last link here will take you to Google Map site that has all the Sacred Sites around the world marked on it.  They are listed on the

Church of the Loaves and Fishes

Thanks everyone, this has turned out to be the trip I hope for. Off to Cappadocia this morning and my great guide Farouk is going with me. He seems to know everything there is to know about all the Palaces and history. I am lucky to have him. Must run. Hope everyone is have fun no matter what they are doing. See you i late October. All of your latest entries about Jerusalem make us want to visit such a historical place. Hope you find Turkey as fascinating.
