I am quickly falling in love with this beautiful country! My trips into
Florence seem to be a daily occurrence, and I am perfectly all right with that. This past week has been a whirlwind, but I am gradually becoming more adjusted to life in Italy. Robbie took us into Florence for the first time on our first Sunday afternoon here. We visited The Duomo, The Baptistry, The Giotto Bell Tower, and The Ponte Vecchio, which was without a doubt my favorite spot. On Wednesday morning, I woke up to a snow covered
Scandicci, and to say that the view from the villa was beautiful would probably have to be the understatement of the century. The food here is wonderful, and I can order cappuccinos like a champ. The San Lorenzo Market is a crazy place to be, but I love the environment and the excitement that it brings. We leave for our ski trip to Abetone tomorrow bright and early! Can't wait to hit the slopes.
