Naka suba si!

It's already 09h00 and we went for breakfast. Again, everything was delicious and wonderful, and the staff always smiling and ready to help.

The sun is already getting hot and going up in the sky...

After breakfast, it's time for relaxation by the beach and enjoying the warm Atlantic Ocean waters.

The ocean is quite clean today, and almost without algae. The hotel staff is finishing collecting the algae that came ashore. There aren't many people yet by the beach, but they will soon start to arrive.

And so it's time ocean swimming and drying on the sun, while reading and listening to some music.

Again, the morning flies by and it's already time to eat, so we went back to the hotel and had lunch at the restaurant. There's some grilled fish with rice or vegetables, and for desert small chocolate pie. Hummm.... yummy!

After lunch, we decided to go to the city centre to buy ourselves some trips. We made our choice, and we will go to the Bandia Reserve and also to the Gorée Island. The temperature on the sun is extremely hot, and it's a very good idea to wear a hat and sunglasses.

Walking to the city centre can be quite tricky, as you will meet dozens of locals trying to sell everything and always trying to make conversation to lead you to buy their products.

By walking on the boardwalk by the beach, we met some locals trying to sell their craftsmanship products (mostly wood) and other services (banana boat rides, 4-wheel tours, etc.). On our way to the city centre, we met a local and we made business... two name cards (made in wood). Raquel's name card has to be made, so we told him we would be back in 30 minutes, more or less.

In the city centre, we found the travel agency where we could make our reservations for the tours. Nearby there's an ATM machine (by another hotel). After reserving the tours, we head back to our hotel, again meeting dozens of locals trying to make business with you. If you have the time, good negotiation techniques and money, you will find several bargains that can really worth the money.
Heading back, we arrived again to the "store" by the beach, where we got our name cards. Their selling techniques are quite impressive :) and so we bought also a statue representing the family. It is a very beautiful statue and it's handmade and crafted on wood.

And so, after that, we arrived at our hotel and it's time to head back for our room, keep away from the hot sun for a while and then head for the pool.

The pool water is very warm and it's also a very good place to be, while the tides on the sea are high and the sun is hot! Again, it's time for swimming and sunbathing by the pool.

At 18h30, the pool area is starting to close and dinner is already being prepared at the restaurant. So, we went to our room, to have a refreshing shower, get dressed and prepare for dinner. Today, the animation is again some live music with a local band. So, while having our delicious dinner, we listened to some music :)

It's time for a walk by the hotel premisses and listen to the waves crashing on the shore. The night is already here and we went to our room to rest and get ready for tomorrow... another day of full relaxation and sunbathing :)

See you then...
