Salamalekum!

Na'nga def? (How are you?)
Mangi fi, rekk (Fine, thank you!)

Again, early birds. It's time for breakfast. There are already some guests up, mostly french and having breakfast. We went back to the room, go collect our towels and went to the beach.

The Sun is already starting to heat up and it looks like it's going to be a very hot day, although there are some clouds way back on the horizon. After getting some chairs and relaxing a bit, reading or listening to some music, we went to the water. Oh.... so hot. It feels wonderfully to swim there.

Today there are some algae floating, but it's a thin line near the shore. Crossing that line, it's fine. The hotel staff is already gathering the algae that came to the sand and burying them near the palm tree roots. It's a great way to protect the erosion on the palm trees that are near the water.

After 20 minutes on the water, it's time to dry on the Sun (like a lizard). It's already hot and as we approach the midday, it gets hotter. So the morning is spent on the water and drying on the sun... enjoying the view, enjoying the sun and relaxing. The end of the day will be hard as we are going home today, and we have a long journey to Dakar.

The morning passes by on a flash and it's time for lunch. At lunch we met a portuguese group. It's their first day. We gave them some hints about the place and told them about our experience.

After that, it's time to pack our bags. Since it's the hottest part of the day, it's the best time to do it. At 15h00 (more or less) we came went for the pool. The water is as hot as the ocean, (ok, maybe 1 degree hotter). Again it's time for Sun and relaxation. At 17h00, it's time to go back to our room, take a shower and get the bags. Everything is settled with the reception and at 18h10, François arrived to take us to the airport and to start our journey back to Portugal.

I'll tell you about the journey to Dakar in a while... see my next entry :)
