The Palolem beach was much quieter and much more pleasant than Anjuna and we enjoyed a couple of days relaxing by the beach.

One of the first things that strikes you about India is that there are cows everywhere. Indians regard them as sacred and pretty much let them do what they like. Be it, walking on a main road or even wander in to a restaurant as Charlie and I discovered when one sauntered in to our restaurant and started sniffing round my nan.
