We arrived in to Marrupa hoping it would be a stop off, on our way to Pemba on the coast. After asking around we soon realized that crossing the road between Marrupa and Montepuez in the rainy season was impossible.

Yes Dad I am sure you are muttering something like "By failing to prepare and preparing to fail"

So we stayed the night before getting another mini bus 6 hours South West to Cuamba.
