Hi,and welcome to Paddy and Mandy's great adventure.
A couple of months ago in a spontaneous moment of madness we decided to buy a Camper Van and set off to tour Europe, breaking off to spend the winter in our house in Spain. That was a Friday, and by the Sunday night the Camper Van was purchased and our dog Lucy, booked in at the Vet in order to get the necessary vaccinations required for her pet passport.
We set ourselves a target leaving date of the 21st September as Paddy had a failing business to wrap up and Amanda had a lot of loose ends in her job to tie up. We also had a very important wedding to attend; Paddy's daughter Kylie, to her fiance Dave.
Amanda's Boss asked her to reconsider leaving so a deal was struck, with her working on line and the phone while away and returning for a period,each month to take care of business in the U.K.
The wedding went off without a hitch but wrapping up all the loose ends proved to be difficult. However, we managed to rent out our house in Beverley. Lucy had received her passport so on October the 1st we at last managed to set sail. The following is we hope, a fun and interesting way of keeping our friends and families informed of our whereabouts and also anyone else who wants to take a look.
