Had breakfast in a nice little deli just up the block then down to Ground Zero.I remember me and H coming here in 1993 and going up the North Tower.I took a pic looking up at the Twin Towers, getting both in shot. Now it's still a building site with two new towers rising up, one way taller than the other (see my new pic).

After that we headed through Battery Park past the various memorials (Irish Potato Famine, Fallen NYPD, Army/Navy/Airforce in WWII) to the Staten Island Ferry which is still free and gives excellent views of Statue of Liberty.

Then up to Empire State Building, having lunch in Legends Sports Bar where we say opposite a signed Stevie G shirt. Queue for Empire State was just under an hour but worth it.Had a decent camera this time so got some panoramic shots. Got dragged in to Macy's while they did some shopping.Thankfully it has a Starbucks with free wifi!

Back to hotel then off out at 6pm to Yankee Stadium to see Yankees vs Red Sox (equivalent of Liverpool vs Man U but without as much hatred).Red Sox won 3-2 and the game lasted 3 1/4 hours.back in bed for 1am.Night all!
