An easy day today. Took the girls and Gary and kids to Berkeley, mainly so that Caitlin could visit her third Hot Topic shop and buy yet another Paramore T shirt. She then took us to American Apparel to buy a hoodie. The town was quiet (term hasn't started yet at UCB) but lots of hobos and a strong smell of weed on Telegraph Avenue.
Took a trip to Emeryville to see Green Day's (bassist's?) cafe - Rudy's Can't Fail - but too busy to park and go in.Maybe tomorrow? It is opposite Pixar's HQ.
Then took the Bay Bridge into San Fran and drove up through Haight Ashbury district before parking up at Golden Gate Park where we went for a walk to see the bison paddock.
Got back to Gary's for a late lunch and for tea we had a BBQ - thanks Lisa.
