Last major drive of the holiday - 250 mile round trip to Monterey, south of San Fran. Got there about 11.15am so walked around their version of Fisherman's Wharf then had a seafood lunch there (the clam chowder was very nice).
Then we walked the mile or so to the Aquarium via Cannery Row. Aquarium was big and interesting - best exhibits being the sea otters (which we also saw out in the Bay), the Tuna (huge!), the jellyfish and the seahorses/sea dragons. Spent a good 4 hours there before heading back to Albany and chicken curry night.
Me and H also visited Bev Mo - an impressive booze warehouse where you can buy 1.75l bottles of Jose Cuervo gold tequila and Beefeater Gin for $21 (£15 FFS!!!). So will go back tomorrow night for our booze order.
