First stop was Mariposa Grove, being a giant sequoia forest.Lots of big trees and we were blessed with a close encounter with a Mule Eared Deer at one point.
After the grove and a 20 minute wait in roadworks, we drove up to Glacier Point for some stunning views of the Yosemite Valley and the Sierra behind. We were 3,000 ft above the Valley - I'll let my photos do the talking.
Headed back about 5pm and H went to the laundrette to do a couple of loads.
Dinner at Charles Street Diner - very nice I had crabcakes.
