Our last bit of a day in Tassie was a pretty cool one - we chilled with Grape Boys 1 & 2 while we watched F1 Qualifying. For all those F1 fans out there (so I know I'm only now talking to Wax), you'll be interested to know that Murray Walker was working in the pit lane for channel 10 & got really excited all the time:
"And look at that - the mechanics are getting ready, taking the tyre warmers off Button's car, and Oh My Goodness, He's getting ready to go out. The noise is 'Fantastic'. And, and, he's off, on a qualifying run"
All of that in a Murray Walker voice & really fast. It was as if Button had just won a world championship, but that's Murray for you!

After the qualifying we made some lunch - cheese sandwiches for all those taking a log of our eating habits. While fetching the cheese grater, i succumbed to a nasty duel with the extractor fan. The fan won, taking a gouge out of my head as a reward. The blood was quite gory, but I survived, just. As you can imagine, Grape Boy 1, 2 and the loser from Kent Road were killing themselves laughing, while I was first-aiding myself, laying spread across the floor. Good friends, aren't they!

We set off at about 4:30 for the port, where we caught The Spirit of Tanzania for the second time. We decided to buy some herbal sleeping tablets to make sure we got a good night sleep, because of the F1 race in the morning - there's nothing worse than being too tired for a motor race: Famine etc doesn't come into it.

Lastly, before a Spirita di Tazza update later on...
We saw the greatest bottle shop in Devonport (A drive thru off license - what a brilliant idea!). It had 5 lanes - 2 of them were called "Browsing Lane" Fantastic!
