We spent our last day in China packing and doing some last minute shopping.  We also visited a Starbucks and took the subway over to a large shopping area.  The Subway line recently opened and is modern, clean and hi-tech.  All announcements are made in Chinese and English also all written information is also in English.  One of the subway station host took us around and helped us buy tickets and showed us to the train.  There are sliding glass doors that open when the train comes so there is no way you could fall on to the tracks.  The train rode nice and was slightly crowded. 

We loved our trip to China and can't wait to return.  The people were friendly and helpful.  We never felt unsafe on the entire trip.  It is amazing that country with a history dating back 5,000 years also sets new standards for world class cities.  Its back to LA and back to work next week.
