Today I was up at 8.30am and got ready to catch a bus to Quebec City where I would stay for one night. I caught the Metro to the bus terminal and had some breakfast before getting on the 11am bus.
Once in Quebec City, I had to make use of my little French "Parlez vous Anglais?" to try and navigate my way through the terminal and the city to the hostel. All the streets here are fantastic. They look so old and European ... i love it!!
Below is a picture of the street that the hostel is on.

After settling into the hostel I got changed into some warmer clothes because it seems so much cooler here than in Montreal. I wandered around the streets and lane ways of Quebec and took a few photos of the Fairmont le Chateau Frontenac and other amazing features of the city. The Fairmont is an amazing hotel (supposed to be the most photographed in the world ... i added a good three or four shots to that total). All the buildings, streets and restaurants are all beautiful. Each lane way has a unique style of its own, one with painters all offering portraits and another with food and gifts.
After a couple hours I headed back to the hostel to sort out some dinner. I found a small shop down the road and got some supplies for dinner. I cooked dinner and then relaxed a little with some reading and a quick stroll through the city while it was night time. Tomorrow I have plans to wander around a little more, eat some pancakes with some Quebecois maple syrup and then head back to Montreal.
