made it into Tauranga last night with the aide of Mike's coworker Brent. another thing I was grateful for after realizing how much it would've cost otherwise.

the town here is really sweet. fairly quiet right now since it's during the week; apparently the weekends get a lot busier, and I'm looking forward to seeing what this place has to offer. Did the trek up Mt. Manganui this morning all by myself. Jay, you would've been so proud, cause I definitely thought my heart was going to beat right out of my chest about 3/4 of the way up. The mountain itself is 800 feet high, so once you get to the summit you can literally see all around you in every direction. absolutely breath-taking... literally.

I am doing well in most areas. The car got sold tonight, so I'm not really having to worry too much about money for the next while. We'll see what comes up after I leave here next week.
