Set off sharp from Monaco after taking some video from the car going round as much of the F1 GP circuit as possible (note: you can do all of it except Casino Square, and a small part when you're going the wrong way!)

Anyway, off to Italy. Mega road. Full of motorway viaducts towering over the small villages and hillsides below - it was also very windy - which combined the the car roof being down made for an interesting driving experience. Made our way past Genoa and followed the signs for Pisa. Decided to stop off in Tuscany for a night in a small towm called Montopoli. Camped next to a couple from Aberdeen of all places, they'd just taken early retirement and were doing a small tour of Europe before emigrating to Melbourne, Australia. I think that they were going to follow line in sailing - Discover Sailing!!

Time to move on again......
