Well today we head back to Mazatlan. Almost like going home since we just spent 4 days there.
Looking forward to the rid through the jungle again. We decided to take a different road through Tepic instead of the coast. Trying to get a little different scenery but looking back the coast was much better.
After about 300 miles...and almost running out of gas
once we made it back to Mazatlan. Man the town is a little different without all the bike stuff going on. Like a week night at home...LOL
We did find a couple refreshments and were ready to call it an early night. But the bike gods had other ideas for us. As we were walking by one of the only sit down bar type bars we ran into in Mexico, we ran into the Mazatlan Bike Club who put the bike week event on. Guess they were having their "meeting" about the success of the bike week and were more than happy to include us in the festivities. What a great bunch of fellow riders!!!
After many cervezas and tequilla's ...luckily we were on foot.... it was time to call it a night.
Up bright and early tomorrow to head back to San Carlos.
