Well here we to Mexico and don't even speak any Spanish..unless you count cervesa and banos ....what more could we need?

We will try and make San Carlos tonight for a few of those cervesa's by the beach.
Our route will take us through the beautiful Sonoran Desert. Through Tuscon, Az and to the border crossing at Nogales.

Our first of many stops happened to be an old mission (can you read Church). I think this was a very appropriate stop considering that it is the 2 of us!!! Mission San Xavier del Bac

Then, after 178 miles we made it to the border. No hassles or problems since we got our vehicle permits before hand. We will stop at the 27 KM point to get travel visas. These are required if you will be staying longer than 10 days. After all was said and done ,no one looked at either documents the whole time we were in country.

We made another stop for "petrol" and an ice cold cervesa......did I mention we are in the HOT Sonoran Desert...
While at the rest stop another ... well memorial type church. I think it is called a descanso in Spanish.

As we traveled down Mexico Hwy 15D

As the day progressed and the "REST" ares passed us by we finally reached our destination for the day of San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico
on the beautiful Sea of Cortez. About 450 miles today.
