I had read about these fish tanks that you can sit in, and have your feet "eaten" and cleaned by fish. I knew I had to try this - it sounded so interesting!! In actuality, they eat your dead skin and are supposed to leave your feet feeling smooth.
So for 15 minutes today, I became their food for $5.
When I first dunk my feet in the tank, the fish attacked my feet and it felt so prickly and ticklish!! It was overwhelming for the first minute, and I wanted to pull them right out! But after a while, I adjusted to the sensation and it was an experience like no other. They really did a great job cleaning ;). After walking on beaches and being in the sea water for 5 weeks, my feet were looking quite dry and flaky. After this fish reflexology, my feet were indeed smooth! Nice job fishies!
Today I just walked around the city a bit more. Street food vendors are just about everywhere, selling yummy food for quarters. Love it!

I visited Bangkok twice in the past.
You are right, it is like Tokyo 30 years ago.
Fishes, frouts and others are so good.
And also you can eat good Japanese cuisine, because Bangkok is in Japanese fashion very much now.
Enjoy!!
You know they have those pedicures in NYC, too. It caused a big uproar a few years ago...
