Our last day in Jackson, we got out to explore the town a bit more in the morning.
We had fun just browsing the gift shops---so many of them, so little money left! Eventually we had something for each grandchild and our daughter and son-in-law. Came upon the Thomas Mangelson Gallery and admired the beautiful photography.
I think John purchased some frameable note cards. It's difficult to justify buying pricey western art to go in a smallish Florida condo! Had lunch at The Bunnery---we actually shared a buffalo burger.
We were at the airport just after noon awaiting our flight to Orlando.
Arrived home around midnight, but safe and sound, thank God, and having enjoyed the trip of a lifetime. Check two more national parks off our "bucket list"!
Next time I am backing up to our Everglades trip in January, 2012.
