Woo hoo! I am permanently legal now... time to open a bank account and go wild!... or at least buy a house... woo hoo!

After stopping at the Policia Federal (immigration)- a visit of all of 9 minutes - I went to the mercado central and then on to the bus station to grab the noon bus... there was a huge amount of rain (a real bus washer today) so a regular 2 hour trip turned into a 3 hour ordeal... but I am home and VERY VERY happy!
