A nice walk up Rua Alvarenga, past the rodoviária to the Praça Tiradentes, down the stinky Rua Direita and home... talked to some bombieros we visited with Bandalheira, and ran into my policewoman friend from the English classes... it's nice to have Ouro Preto back from the masses.
The street cleaning on the Rua Direita... a shame you cannot capture smells with a camera... horrível!
