Biked Big Rock Trail in Dupont State Forest.  This was the first time on slickrock.  Took a minor spill and ended up losing the back tire.  A quick fix and we were back on the trail.  We then headed towards my grandparents house in Illnois.  On the way we stopped at Whiteside Mountain in Nantahala National Forest.  We had a picnic lunch and then made the 2 mile hike.  Finally got on the road and got out of NC!

On the way, we saw a huge Log Cabin Manufacturing Facility in TN engulfed in flames but I didn't have time to take a picture.

Rolled in really late and ready to take few days off before heading out West.
