24/1/12 – Our two day trek in Khao Sok national park come to an end, we had literally just arrived back at the pier for our bus back to our accommodation. Sad to be leaving such inconceivably delicious surroundings, we could easily have stayed several days longer.
25/1/12 – Goodbye Thailand! On our second minibus of the day, we snailed our way towards the Malaysian border, en route to Kuala Lumpur. If I remember right I was midway through watching The Town, I'd recommend it!
26/1/12 – Having spent all day exploring Kuala Lumpur, we were just heading back from some Lake Gardens, and were dreaming of times when we could afford to stay in such fine accommodation as the KL Hilton. Check out the ridiculously opulent roof gardens, going ever higher. Some day!
27/1/12 – Those crazy Malaysians had gone and built a gargantuan shopping mall, well over ten storeys high and so big it had a theme park inside it! Of course we had to pay this a visit, and it turned out to be a belter, with one hell of a rollercoaster. Eastgate Centre, hang your head in shame son.
28/1/12 –This was taken outside another enormous shopping mall, at the foot of the Petronas Towers, as we wandered outside for a while. Seen here, tasty blueberry donut.
29/1/12 – Our last day in Malaysia. We spent all morning walking round more parks and shops in KL, and were in a park near the iconic Petronas Towers once again. Notice the clock on the neighbouring skyscraper. Nice.
30/1/12 – Hello Indonesia! We flew from KL to Bali in the morning. Immediately after checking in to a guesthouse, we went straight for a cold local beer, Bintang.
