During our stay in Tanzania, we will have a personal tour guide bring us everywhere we go. We have this tour guide for 8 days, and the 8 days are planned in an itinerary. So here goes:
Day 0- We arrive at the airport and come to our hotel
Day 1-We go to Arusha national park, famous for Mt. Meru and animals such as giraffe, buffalo, warthog, and black-and-white colobus mokeys.
Day 2-We go to Tarangire national park, famous for baobab trees, elephants, and tree-climbing lions. We go game driving and camp outside of the park.
Day 3-We do a cultural villiage tour and go to Lake Manyara national park at the bottom of the Great Rift Valley and do an afternoon game drive. It is famous for the flamingoes that inhabit the lake and many different animals that live in the park (leopards, lions, elephants, hippo, etc.)
Day 4-We go to Serengeti national park! We get to see the great migration, and game drive our way to camp near Seronera River.
Day 5-A full day in the Serengeti, game driving and exploring nature. Camp at Seronera campsite.
Day 6-In the Serengeti, we rise at dawn to watch the animals hunt. At night we drive to Ngorongoro Crater, and stay and Sopa Lodge on the rim of the crater.
Day 7-We game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the worlds largest caldera (collapsed volcano). We will see some of the 30,000 resident animals. We then return to Arusha.
Day 8-We leave from the airport to head to Johannesburg.
