Where I stayed
Last night we got into the Gettysburg Campground after a record breaking (at least for us) 652 mile stretch from Illinois to Pennsylvania. About 13 hours. So we all were extremely beat by the time we rolled into the campground. This morning we shuttled over to a bus tours place in the middle of Gettysburg. The bus was a double-decker so we all waited patiently in front of the door of the bus so we could get a front row seat. After beating down some people who thought they wanted the front seat also, we headed off on a journey of knowledge. It was interesting to be able to see the battle fields 11 ft. up and then be able to hear about it in our ear phones. While we were in Gettysburg we went into a presidents and first-ladies museum and a soldiers museum. Both very enlightening. Tomorrow we are leaving for Albany, NY to see mom's sisters, then home.
