South African Airlines decided to be really cool and make us change plane in Dakar Senegal, at 5:20 in the morning, before they had planed everything out. We ended up sitting on the plane for a really long time before they let us off. Then when we were allowed off, they made us load on to a very crowded bus (locked us in) and then wait without air conditioning. After that, they drove us about 100 meters, left us again, while they decided the best way for us to unload. When that was finally established (like an hour or more later) they allowed us off the buses only to get back on to a plane that wasn't ready to depart. I had a new seat (also a window seat) next to a nice girl from SA who now lives in the states.
