Woke up at the wonderful time of 7.20am....thankfully with no hangover having been very responsible the night before. Madly tried to upload the rest of our photos onto travelpod before stuffing a few more essential items into the pack... rugby ball, nail vanish, DVD's for the laptop... you know all the important stuff for a trans Africa overland tour.
At 11:15 our taxi came and drove us out to Luton. Arrived just after 12 to see a bunch of similar looking travelers, introduced ourselves, checked in (24 and 22kg) and made our way to the nearest bar, grabbing some other necessities along the way, waterproof mascara and two more eyeshadows... come on a girl has to look her best!
