Austin, TX to Del Rio, TX
2090 miles, sunrise 6:08am

I awoke today, and got on the road quickly once again. I arrived in San Antonio, where I bumped into some familiar old sea friends, Craig and his girlfriend. They took me out to eat something called Tacos, authentic ones too. I told them I was bold sea sailor and have eaten many strange catches of the sea and that I wanted to prove my boldness as a land sailor. Apparently bold land sailors eat cow tongue tacos, so I decided I had to have one too. Afterwards, I decided I should avoid eating meat for a few days and realized that I had much to learn about the fresh catches of land sailing.
We walked around the block after lunch and found an old man, 82 years, working hard in his garage creating his 767th toilet bowl seat cover. He invited me in, and we talked about the seas. He showed me his toilet bowl seat covers, and we quickly became good friends. Next I checked out the Alamo, I don't think the police there liked me taking pictures in front of it too much, so I left pretty quickly and walked downtown. Seems like a nice place, no ships on the city river though. I decided I had to keep going to I headed due west towards whatever lies ahead. My ship cruised past ranches and farms. I started seeing green plants with spikes and needles all over them. I ended up in a town called Del Rio, which happened to be next to another country they call Mexico. I walked over the river to see if they had any oceans there or spare vessels I could sail on the river with. Unfortunately, they seemed to be speaking a foreign language, and communication was near impossible. I returned back and fell asleep.
