Puerto viejo, Costa Rica

oh my gosh, it is soooooo freakin hot in puerto viejo right now. I woke up to bright sun and walking down the street as if someone had a magnifying glass over my arm with the hot sun burning through it from the other side. I donīt know how people get used to this sort of weather. I walked around, had breakfast and went straight for a nap. I think this is why everyone always walks and talks so slowly. itīs the freakin heat! so far, Iīm not that impressed with this city. there arenīt that many impressive shops. itīs not particularly cheap. the people are pretty friendly though, and look a lot differently from the rest of costa rica. itīs got a whole jamaican, bob marley feel to this city. went to a club last night, which played a lot of reggae and hip hop. it was pretty cool, but again... waaaay too hot. it feels like dancing in a stuffed room.
there are tons of travellers around this city, I can tell.. but none that are that approachable I feel. so far, Iīve mostly hung out and talked to locals. there are some girls who meet by my hotel who seem very nice. and I met an argentinian boy who was trying to teach me how to say spanish words with an argentinian accent.
I might end up leaving tomorrow for bocas del toro tomorrow... we will see...
