This place is so nice. Its a small swiss/bavarian type city in the hills next to a big valley. The buildings are awesome and so much chocolate!

When I arrived there was some sort of festival going on with a big food court, music and so on. Set up at my hostel and went and had a look. Tried some sort of giant chip that there was a 30 person line up for. It was like a deep fried potato. Average anyway. Walked through the maze of jam and chocolate stalls and seen a massive croud watching some type of lawn bowls. From what i can figure it was like lawn bowls but you can also throw the ball. These old blokes were pretty good.

Next day went for a walk through the town and down to a big lake with ducks and swan boats. Was boring. Bummed around all day and went to a bar at night which had a train inside it. So I drank inside a train inside a pub. TOPS.

Went back to Porto Alegre that morning and met up with some friends in the afternoon and caught a bus overnight.
