Today our friend Maria, who took several classes with K at UCLA, showed us around the sugar loaf, cristo redentor, and lunch. To our surprise, we found dulce de leche stuffed churros right before it started raining cats and dogs over rio. We escaped the showers only to soak in the sauna in our hotel.....life is good.
