A long lockless stretch today until we reach the bottom of Stoke Locks. Had a few heavy showers which was probably received gratefully around here. Found someone to share the last 5 with. Dave got soaked to the skin doing last two locks. Arrived at Stoke Bruerne at 4.45pm to find all shops closed so decided to stay for another day tomorrow.
