Dogs enjoying a run around on some grass for a change instead of concrete! 9am and on our way towards a run of locks. "Oh dear back to using the windlass" Dave says. Steady plod on today - quite uneventful, but did meet a couple who are moored at ABC in
Bingley, so stopped for a chat. Got out the bike to cycle from lock to lock as too far to walk. We keep hearing from fellow boaters about the shortage of water up north, so not quite sure which route we can take yet. Grand Union is also down by about 6ins. We may have to do the Trent. "Flippin eck" says Judy "Not the tidal waters again". Moored at Croxley Lock instead of Cassiobury Park Lock as apparently there is a ghost there who is reputed to keep opening the bottom gates!!!
