The paddi fields of the Mekong Delta produce enough rice to feed the whole country with a surplus and we enjoyed pootling around the well watered countryside for a few days.

Jess on a boat

It was hot hot hot in the delta! You just can't do anything in the middle of the day.

Tom on a boat

We started off in a small town for one day and took a boat up the little canals off the river. Next we went on to the main town in the region Can Tho where we motorbiked out to the nearby floating markets and then boated back amongst the floating stalls selling fruit and Pho.
