When the results were announced we were amazed - our team had found the most 'Pietmit Frau's' - apparently something of a competition had been taking place, although we were oblivious to it all!

As a reward for out hard work (and it really was hard, spending a day in Nyslvley - it's far too beautiful to take!) one of the other birders had organised us to spend some time on nearby 'Serendipity Ranch'.

What a place, stunning waterfalls, amazing 'koppies' hills, dragonflies, birds, and views to die for. Reluctantly we decided to stop off for a dip on the way home.

What started out as a very wet morning in South Africa, ended up being a day to remember. Please enjoy the photos!
