Arrived Chaing Mai and found a B&B to crash for the night. After strolling the streets nearby and finding a Singha beer or two we decided to go on a 4 night Thai Jungle hike. We stayed at different Thai indian villages each night, rode an elephant one day, rafted a few miles down a river, and got spooked by jungle nightmares myself. Really really bad nightmare the first night in the jungle. Poor Christy had to pee so bad and couldn't get out of the locked door as I was freaking out in my sleep... all she could say to comfort me was, "sorry, cant help you with that." Our Tour guides name was, Dang. Thank goodness he urged me to keep going, I was SOOOO tired and out of shape! Thought I'd die from my t-shirt choking me due to the backpack pull. Christy was a trooper... could've done the trek with flip flops! Bitch!
