As I am the only person here they have upgraded me from the little cabin to a room in the house.  Very comfortable bed and lovely folk.

Yesterday I drove via Twizel and Omarama to Kurow, passing several lovely lakes.  First (pre-dawn, I got away around 0630) was Lake Pukaki where I captured the moon and Venus.

Then I passed Lake Ohau, Rautinawha, Benmore, Alexanda and Aviemore.  Saw some glorious autumn golds along Lake Benmore at Sailors Cutting, where there was another very nice campground.  Today has been a quiet day, took a walk and met the resident cat who lives up at the sheds.

I should have known you'd strike up a friendship with the resident moggie. Patsy sends her regards.
