Jinotepe, Nicaragua

As I sit in an internet cafe in Jinotepe,
Nicaragua all I can hear is the sound of traffic, traffic and more traffic. I have nine minutes remaining to type my brief summary of my time here so far. I've been in Nicaragua as a Peace Corps trainee for one week and one day. So far so good. I live with a host family in a village called La Paz in South West
Nicaragua. The things I have seen thus far are impressive. Pictures will follow this email as soon as I find a reliable processor. The next three months as a trainee I am expected to improve my Spanish and learn the customs of the Nicas. No doubt i'm in for the time of my life. I hope to hear from you all frequently. Keep me abreast of the news and gossip in the States.
