So Millo didn't go to school again today. Ahh the joy of a day filled with an ill, and thus whiney, three year old... Still, we made the best of it. I did so by spending the majority of the morning sniffing paint fumes (not entirely to escape Camillo. There was the slightly less practical reason that I was doing some painting as well). So, the morning past slowly.
After lunch, and after spending a little more time with Camillo, playing with the ol' gormiti and learning some word for animals thanks to a game ( fun fact- libellula means dragonfly), I took myself off to San Francesco to do a rece of the place. I was disappointed to find that there was no body of Signorelli (I mean who wouldn't be disappointed to miss out on seeing an old, slightly decomposed body?). Despite that the place was pretty awesome possum. I want the ceiling that they have there for my future house. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the inside but I managed to get one sneaky one from through the door. 'Cause I'm a rebel an' all that. Thus, the first place has been ticked off my list.
After my culture time, I went and sat outside and read for a while before going to pick up Metta. The weather was gorgeous today! It was properly warm in the sun, which was a novelty because, as I'm sure you all know, February in Britain (or at least Scotland) is pants to say the least.
I finished the picture of the boar this evening, which was satisfying. It took longer than I was expecting because, when I had finally got the drawing how Livia liked it, she decided that she wanted to paint the frame a different colour so I had to paint over my drawing then re-do it. Luckily, I'm super clever so had the super clever idea of tracing the drawing before painting over it. Sorted!
Soo...that was pretty much my day. Gentle but not too bad.
Ciao
