The day today was good until dinner time. It started out out with me revisiting childhood by watching Pippi Longstocking (some girl was singing a song from it yesterday and, thus, reminded me). It was awesomes! That was reliving the later years of childhood. At thiss rate tomorrow I'll have regressed right back to toddler years and be watching Rugrats or Tots TV.
The rest of the day until Metta returned was fairly chilled and then, when she got back her, Maelys and I spent a nice afternoon drawing. I drew a slightly insulting picture of Maelys and in return got what looked like a transvestite with red hair (I believe it was supposed to be me but have forced myself not to feel too insulted). Metta also did me a drawing. It's really more of an abstract but more agreeable to my vanity than Maelys'.
At 3.30 Metta had Chinese and it was the first lesson since I've been here that she's enjoyed. That may have something to do with the fact that she spent the hour decorating a cake on the computer, but whatever makes her happy is good by me.
A depressing realization dawned on me today. I'm going to have to roll myself home if I continue like this. It's not that I'm eating excessively it's just that the past month or so has been pretty much a carb-fest. I am the last person who would expect to hear this, but I think when I get home one of the first things I'm going to do is eat some vegetables. Uncooked. That's another thing. Any vegetables they have here have been cooked to death. Sigh!
Now, I said the day was good until dinner, and that is because at this point Livia seemed to turn into boss-type-person from hell. She was all moody and bossy and, when she was skyping another potential au pair, said that tonight no one was helping her. I was fairly raging. I may have talked back to her a little which was not a great idea. Thankfully I have this where I can vent my anger, and potentially turn you against this woman you've never met. Oops....oh well.
I'm off to seethe for a little longer, as I watch the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Ciao
