we left for New York early this morning. After the most comfortable train ride ever (I think i slept the whole way), we arrived in NY & headed for a touristy bus ride of the Manhattan. We went as far as Rockefeller Center then walked for a while to Times Square. We then hopped on the bus again & continued our educated tour of the busy city. We managed to catch the last touristy bus going to Brooklyn for a look around. Although the area wasn't as lively as we thought, we enjoyed the walk back to Manhattan across the Brooklyn bridge. We had some fantastic views of the bridge & the skyline. We headed back to town after for some good pizza at John's pizza (by Times Square) & reluctantly skipped the Empire State Building visit due to the long wait: no patience!
