In the bearable early hours of the morning, we headed for a short visit to Sedona. Not a whole lot to say about the town itself except that they had good ice coffee but the drive was beautiful. We were surrounded by the green of trees & random red rocks. It was like being on a painter's canvas. We then drove to Monument Valley where the sun was high & hot! Despite the entrance fee (it's not a National Park but an Indian Reservation), the park was amazing & we probably got some of our best photos from there. At night, we headed for Moab to set up our campsite.
