Visit to Wellington and hiking around

It's been a great week here. Lots of sheep out on grass, meandering around the hillsides. I have sighted one goat, but they are just not that popular here.
We have 1 week left in this gorgeous town until we take off for our next venture Northwards to the island of Waiheke. Meanwhile, we are soaking it up. Lots of hiking, biking, walks on the beaches and cooking of course! We have met some very interesting and sweet people through our house cleaning gigs. And we've had some babysitting too. Nika will be watching the Jade shop next week and I will hopefully be back in the Elementary school for a few days now that they are back from holiday. They don't have a summer vacation here, instead they have 2 weeks off like every few months. The highlight of the weekend is going to be biking up the road to track down the fish truck and finally get our hands on some fresh seafood. Surprisingly, it's very hard to get it fresh around here even though we are sitting on the sea! Oh, and of course the final hoorah in Rugby- France vs NZ on Sunday. That'll be a party.
