This morning started out pretty average... wake up...remember where I am...check to see how boof my hair is - afro sized excellent..... Attacked hair with hairbrush and Anne's wicked gas powered straighter and then pondered on what to do today...
Tara - so what are we going to do today?
Anne - I don't know... what do you wanna do?
Tara - I don't know... what do you wanna do?
Anne - hmmm I don't know... what do you wanna do?
Tara - *pause for dramatic effect* I don't know... what do you wanna do?
Anne - I feel like a Milo
Tara - me too...
as you can see we have the most riveting morning conversations.
well we did get up - and we did get dressed - and for hygiene lovers everywhere I'd like to point out that since the 24hour flight I did have a shower before bed to wash away the mankyness - clean = good...
carrying on - once our brains started to function properly we concurred that the day shouldn't be wasted and that a trip into London for a wander was in order. and since the morning was particularly gloomy looking we both agreed that today we would go and see Madame Tussades wax museum - expertly caught the tube to baker street (you know the Sherlock Homes baker street) past 3 souvenir shops in a row and made our way into the museum.
Madame Tussades is wickedly cool. The beginning of the attraction is this big room filled with wax celebrities - which was a little confusing because it was hard to tell if you were standing in someone's photo or not - these wax figures were everywhere. I stood waiting for someone to take a picture of Penelope Cruz... until I realised that the photographer was also made of wax... way to go Tara.... we walked around taking a good look at the celebs.... Brad had been moved away from Jennifer and next to Angelina.... Jennifer has been put next to Tom Cruise (what intellectual conversations they must have)
in conclusion it rocked pretty hard :o) so after all our schmoozing with celebs and running away from hissing weirdoes we hopped back onto the tube and went to visit the queen (the real one this time) Green Park next to the palace is simply gorgeous - huge oak trees and people just chilling out in the sun on the grass, and then the palace was... well it was big... I was more impressed by the huge statues outside the gate - than the palace itself... I did take a photo for posterity purposes. we got to see the guards ride past on their horses, and then the royal pooper scooper following behind - hahaha wouldn't you love that job....
back onto the tube (thank jebus for day passes) and onto bond street (like in monopoly) where you find me now sitting in a very quiet internet cafe with a very orange decor just chilling out getting some energy back.
Tonight I believe we are being ushered to a party called Lock Stock, with Steph and the flatties which should be good... not entirely sure how long I'll last but I'll do my best.
Cheers - Tara
